Attorney Bio for Brad Boyd, attorney with Thomsen & Nybeck, PA

 

Brad Boyd, attorney with Thomsen & Nybeck, PA (and formerly principal attorney of Boyd Law Firm, PLLC), graduated with a Bachelor of Arts with honors from Augustana College, in Sioux Falls, South Dakota, and with a Juris Doctorate from the University of Minnesota Law School.  At the University of Minnesota, Brad demonstrated success as a regional semi-finalist with his moot court partner in the ABA Moot Court regional competition in Boston, MA. 

 

Brad's broad legal experience, real estate experience, and experience developing and managing businesses are unique assets for Brad's clients.  Before joining the firm of Thomsen & Nybeck, Brad Boyd was founder and principal attorney of Boyd Law Firm, PLLC, a successful law practice with offices in Minnetonka and Maple Grove.  Prior to that, Brad was an associate attorney with a small firm practicing in the areas of Real Estate, Business Law, Estate Planning, and Probate.  During this time, Brad also became a licensed real estate broker, then started and successfully operated a flat-fee real estate brokerage, Full House Realty, LLC (www.FullHouseRealty.com). 

 

Mr. Boyd understands the importance small business, cultural awareness, and civic responsibility have on community.  His leadership and volunteer spirit are demonstrated in his teaching community education courses, and having served on the Minnesota Association of Realtors as past chair and active member of the Forms Committee, active member of the Governmental Affairs Committee, and as a past member of the Board of Directors and Executive Committee, and on the Industry Issues Workgroup.  Brad also actively writes newsletters and articles with industry or legal tips for agents, small businesses, and the public.  These experiences and activities enable Brad Boyd to provide clients with a practical, broad, and balanced perspective. 

 

Brad's unique skills as an attorney and entrepreneur him counsel clients with practical insight and sensitivity to the unique challenges of small businesses.  In his free time, he devotes significant time and attention to his family, and toward his other personal interests, such as snowboarding, biking, running, hiking, snowshoeing, and environmental responsibility.  Brad's creative outlets include his many website initiatives, including the following sites focused on environmental responsibility and sustainable thinking:
